Hillman Koen

Hillman Koen has been a highly successful poultry grower and served the industry well. In 1965, he set up Koen Farms Inc. and was owner/president of its egg operation for years. His community service includes the presidency of Arkansas Egg Council Board of Directors in 1972; the presidency of the Poultry Federation, 1985; and the chairmanship of Arkansas Livestock & Poultry Commission in '87-'89. Mr Koen was the federation's "Man of the Year" in 1983. He also has been active in many national egg and poultry industry organizations and has helped numerous young people obtain an agricultural education.
